Roasted Nuts a la Laura

Our beloved neighbor Laura brought us these amazing roasted nuts once and we loved them! I think we kept pestering her to bring them again and she kept bringing them. I recently got the recipe so I could make them myself. My mom loved these! I remember one day the power went out and it was so dark, we lit all the candles and turned on the fireplaces, my mom and I were reading magazines and playing cards having a great time. Laura walked up from her house with some of these roasted nuts and it was delicious to snack on them as she visited. It is such a fun memory ❤️.  *tip* make sure you use RAW nuts, or if you use already roasted nuts or already salted nuts you would have to cut back on the added salt and amount of time in the oven significantly.
