Chicken & Roasted Figs

This recipe for Chicken & Roasted Figs is a great combination of savory and sweet (similar to Chicken Marbella). If you don't have access to good fresh figs much of the year (e.g. the Pacific Northwest), this can be made with dried figs that have been reconstituted with boiling water. A large Dutch Oven or cast iron skillet is ideal for recipes like this that require stove --> oven movements.
